Roger Carrier

With over 30 years in commercial real estate, Roger currently owns and operates office buildings as Hershey Leasing Company. Since 1991, Hershey has provided top quality service to tenants, with many choosing to stay for over 10 to nearly 30 years. 

Born in Erie, PA, Roger attended Pennsylvania State University, graduating with a PhD in Civil Engineering in 1974. At 20, Roger became the General Manager at three McDonalds franchise locations in Erie, highlighting his leadership and entrepreneurial savvy at a young age. He held Office Manager and Vice president positions in several private industries before starting his own business at age 50.

His post-graduate experience also included teaching Civil Engineering at Penn State University and leading the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation from 1976 to 1985 as the District 11 Engineer for Allegheny, Beaver, and Lawrence counties. 

Roger founded TriLine Associates in 1988, an engineering design firm, he founded Right-Of-Way Services in 1991, and created Hershey Leasing Company in 1991. He has continuously owned, financed, built, operated, and maintained Hershey’s office buildings since its founding. 

Roger has spent 21 years as the elected Chairman of the Board for Southpointe Properties Owners Association.
